As 2022 draws to a close it´s time to look back at 2022 and recap on some of the favorite moments we had in this great year.
In February we announced the launch of Micetro 10.2 with some great new features including a better level of management and visibility for DHCPv6, custom property management which can be managed through the Micetro web interface, High Availability management for Micetro Central, and DHCP scope reconciliation for Microsoft DHCP servers from the Micetro Web UI.
In April we got great news when we were nominated in the Blaze Inclusion Awards. The Blaze Inclusion Awards celebrate the companies and organizations that have adopted Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives in their values, workplace, and work culture. We are immensely proud to have been nominated, as it shows that our efforts to create a more diverse and equal workplace have been recognized.
Also in April the software report announced that our very own CTO Sigfús Magnússon was part of the list of Top 25 Software Product Executives of 2022! The awardees are some of the most experienced professionals in the field of software product design and development. Sigfús was selected for his excellence in leadership, and vision for his team and the product that we have built, Micetro by Men&Mice.
June was a big month for Men&Mice: we announced the launch of Micetro 10.3. With new features including new support for Kea DHCPv6 services, new functionality within custom properties, xDNS profiles, and other improvements to the web UI which means even better operational experience for you and your teams.
In June, after having to turn around due to a snow blizzard last year, our Men&Mice hiking group attempted to climb Hvannadalshnjúkur the highest peak in Iceland again in the beginning of June. After 8 hours of hiking, the group reached the summit at 2,110m. All smiles at the top in incredible weather!
Also in June we went to Cisco Live in Las Vegas which was our first Tradeshow in more than two years following the Covid pandemic.
Topics on the top of mind for attendees at Cisco Live in Las Vegas were sustainability and customer experience. We therefore asked our very own CEO to give us his view on these two important topics.
In the end of August we then went to San Fransicso to attend VMware Explore and we asked Joe Bauer to look back at the fantastic conversations he had with some of our customers and their experiences using Micetro for their network management.
In September we officially celebrated our move to our new HQ at Sudurlandsbraut and hosted a party!
In October we had the whole Men&Mice team coming from all over the world to our new HQ in Iceland for a "Þing" week. This week consisted of workshops, team building, and celebrating. The main objective was to get our employees together as a collaborative to strengthen organizational culture, celebrate successes, and pave the way forward for our growth together as a company as we continue to achieve our mission: Make it simple and easy for enterprises to manage their network infrastructure.
In November we then went to VMware Explore in Barcelona which was packed with fantastic discussions with inspiring attendees, partners and customers about DDI, and how Micetro can help with the challenges that enterprises face as their networks grow larger and their infrastructure more complex.
What a great year 2022 was for Men&Mice... We wish to thank all of our wonderful employees, our trusted partners and our amazing customers for making this year so memorable! Bring on 2023! 🎉
